The MC2X8 WLAN client is a further development of the proven MC devices (MC1,2,4), but now with Wifi 6E technology.

The ongoing development of WLAN technology requires faster processors that can handle the ever-increasing possible data throughput. With the MC2X8, which is equipped with a 4-core processor, we can use newer wireless technologies on the one hand and, on the other, achieve faster processing thanks to the higher processor performance.

The MC2X8 is compatible with the MC devices in terms of mechanics and connections.
Both device classes can be moderated and configured as usual using the MCConfig program.

The MC2X8 offers all the functions and settings of the MC devices and additional functionality in the score of VPN connections (OpenVPN, IPsec, WireGuard®) and firewall rules. 

The MC2X8 platform has sufficient resources to implement additional functionalities in the future.

The MC2X8 is available in a version with a Wifi 6E radio card and in a version with an additional integrated 5G/LTE module. The 5G/LTE module requires 4 additional antenna connections and a SIM card slot on the device.
